Sri Lankan bowling struggled to keep India under wraps in their encounter in the under-19 World Cup semi-final in Mirpur.

The Indians who were put to bat by the Sri Lankans’, managed to put up a good target with Anmolpreet Singh who managed to put up 72 runs and S.N Khan who scored 59 and Washington Sundar who scored a quick 43 off 45 balls alongside a speedy 29 off 16 balls by Armaan Jaffer. India managed to finish strong with 267 runs for the loss 8 wickets at the end of the 1st innings

A.M.Fernando managed to pick up 4 wickets for 43 runs in his 10 over spell

Sri Lankan openers struggled and was dismissed early in the game. P.H.K.D Mendis put up 39 runs and S.Ashan managed to put up 38 runs. Sri Lanka fell short by 97 runs and only managed to put up 170 runs before loosing all their wickets at ended their fight for the U-19 World Cup
