Police Commission to launch investigations into public complaints

The Police Commission has received 650 complaints lodged by the public, against actions taken by police officers. Secretary of the Commission, Ariyadasa Cooray noted  that complaints are being investigated by the provincial offices of the commission.

He added that it is essential for the public to lodge such complaints so that investigations into such alleged action by police officers could be launched.
