A clash broke out between two groups of fishermen this afternoon at the Chilaw Fisheries Harbor. The situation occurred following a discussion which was chaired by the subject minister.

A special discussion was held on the construction of a breakwater at the Chilaw fisheries harbor. The discussion was held on Thursday (Jan 14) afternoon under the auspices of Minister Mahinda Amaraweera and several others.

When fisherman were given the opportunity to voice their opinion , an argument broke out between two groups present.
