WBO women’s world title boxing championship to be held in Sri Lanka

The WBO Women’s world title boxing championship will get underway at Stein studio’s Ratmalana at 6.30 p.m. on Saturday.

The event will feature world class female boxers from Japan, Thailand and the Philippines.

World wrestling great Antonio Inoki who is remembered for his 1976 performance in the ring against Mohammad Ali, will also make a guest appearance at Saturday’s event.

The WBO Women’s world title boxing championship is being organised by the Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited under its Sports1st brand.
