The Water Supply and Drainage Board says that an eighteen hour water cut will be enforced on many areas including Colombo, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia from 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 28.

Accordingly, the Kotte and Kaduwela Municipality, administrative areas of the Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa and Kolonnawa Urban Council and the Kotikawatte and Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha areas will experience a disruption in the water supply.

The Water Board confirmed that the water cut is a result of an essential maintenance activity taking place at the Ambathale Water Purification Centre.
