The Ministry of Defence says that the Tri-Forces are on standby in camps to assist the police in upholding the law and order of the country when required, at any instance when the prevailing peace in the country is affected.

A statement issued by the Media Centre of the Ministry requests the public not to be deceived by the statements that are circulating undermining national security.
