500 million people worldwide tuned in to watch Barcelona outperform Real Madrid to grab a spectacular 4-0 win.

In a game that was to decide the top place in the La Liga this season, Barcelona came to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to meet Real Madrid for the much anticipated El Clásico.

At 10:45pm the game started and 5 minutes in Sergio Roberto’s through ball finds Suarez who opened the scoring for Barcelona with a brilliant right footed shot that sent the ball whizzing past the keeper to the box to the bottom left corner.

Barcelona made a change early with Jeremy Mathieu replacing Javier Mascherano because of an injury. Barcelona struck again at 30 minutes when Iniesta’s pass goes through to Neymar on the left who finds the center of the net from a difficult angle.

Barcelona worked the ball enough to find a third one when Neymar sneaked a pass at the edge of the box, laying it up for Iniesta to find top right corner of the net from the center of the box with a right footed shot.

Lionel Messi, who had been out through injury, came in at 56 minutes for Ivan Rakitic. Expectations were that Messi would not exert too much, with Barcelona holding on to comfortable lead but made his impact when he played it into Neymar who flicked it perfectly to Suarez (and grabs his second assist of the night) and the Uruguayan lifts it over Reals keeper,Navas for four.
