According to the Department of Examinations the highest number of candidates were recorded in the history of the country are sitting for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination for the year 2015.
The department went on to note that this year, 664,537 candidates are due to sit for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination in comparison to the 570,409 students who sat for the examination last year.
The Department added that, compared to last year, there has been an of increase of 87,128 candidates sitting for this year’s examination.
While 403,442 candidates sitting for the examination this year are school applicants, 260,895 candidates have forwarded private applications.
The G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination for this year is scheduled to commence on December 8.
