Russian naval and armed forces staged joint military exercise in the Black Sea, on the coast of the annexed Crimean peninsula on Wednesday (October 28).
Military vessels and Bal rocket systems on the coast hit targets on land, as the drones controlled the operations from the air.
Russia annexed Ukraine’s Crimea in March 2014 after the ousting of pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovich, which was followed by fighting between Russia-backed separatist rebels and Ukrainian government troops in eastern Ukraine.
The war in Ukraine has dragged relations between Russia and the West to their lowest level since the Cold War.
