The National Institute of Education says that a special programme will be in place to develop the facilities and infra-stucture in underpriviledged schools.
Director General, Professor Gunapala Nanayakkara said that they will receive statistics on the under-privileged schools at district level.
Thereafter, the development process would take place with the assistance of the parents. He added that schools in the North and the schools that were affected during the war will be of priority.
He further noted that the schools that do not offer Advanced Level classes, will also be provided with it.
