The OHCHR report on Sri Lanka, the Udalagama and Paranagama Commision reports were tabled in parliament on Tuesday by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The Prime Minister noted that as promised, the Udalagama Commission report, the Paranagama Commission report and the report of the UN Human Rights Council have been tabled in the house.
He added that the previous government similarly presented the LLRC report to parliament. So now, all what we have to do is debate about it.
He went on to note:
What was requested at the party leaders’ meeting was the report. However tomorrow, I am ready to present the resolution to parliament as well.
