Indian police stated that over 130 kilogrammes of Marijuana, allegedly meant to be smuggled to Sri Lanka, was seized and two persons  arrested in Ramanathapuram District.

Acting on a tip-off, police seized the Marijuana, weighing 134 kilogrammes kept at a place on the seashore at S P Pattinam, about 70 kilometres from Rameswaram.

Two persons were arrested in connection with the stock of Marijuana, which was to be allegedly smuggled to Sri Lanka by the sea route.
