US-Russia tensions continue as the two nations are to hold talks on air-safety following visual contact between air-crafts from the two nations.

The air-crafts were 10 to 20 miles apart according to a US defence spokesperson.

The sit-down between the countries will be the third round of talks, as the two countries seek to find ways of avoiding an accidental conflict.

Russia began its campaign of air-strikes on Syria on the 30th of September, with the claim that they were targeting Islamic State (IS) militiants and other jihdists groups follwoing a request from Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
