12 persons were injured following an accident that took place opposite the Girithale river along the Girithale – Bakamuna main road on Wednesday, October 08

According to the police the driver’s inability to control the vehicle resulted in the accident.

The injured have been admitted to the Jayathipura and Polonnaruwa Hospitals for treatment.
