Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa provided a statement to the officials from the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into serious acts of fraud and corruption.
Officials from the Presidential Commission of Iinquiry in to serious acts of Fraud and corruption, on Wednesday visited the residence of former president Mahinda Rajapaksa in Mirihana to obtain a statement.
Secretary of the Commission, Lacille de Silva said the statement was obtained into an incident where a financial loss was incurred to a state run media institute when airing election propoganda material during the presidential election.
