The Department of Technical and Education Training stated that the planetarium has been reopened after refurbishment and renovation.

The Ministry added that they will work towards promoting science and technology and increase the knowledge of students in Astronomy. They went on to note that the planetarium can hold 510 students.

The planetarium will be open from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. on weekdays except Monday.  The planetarium will be open to the general public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

They added that the the planetarium will be closed on Sunday, Monday and government holidays.
