Wasim Thajudeen’s phone found in Nuwara Eliya: Police

Police say that the mobile phone said to have been used by late rugby player Wasim Thajudeen, who died under suspicious circumstances, has been found in the Nuwara Eliya area.

Police Media Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara revealed on Tuesday September 8 that the mobile phone was being used by an individual in the Agarapathana area in Nuwara Eliya at the time it was found.

ASP Gunasekara said that the child’s father had found the phone in the Kirulapone area. He further stated that further investigations are underway.
