Three individuals have died after a lorry toppled over a hill near the Naragala bridge in Bulathsinhala.
According to the police, two women and the lorry driver have died following the accident.
The accident had occurred on Saturday night as the lorry had purportedly attempted to make way for a three-wheeler that was travelling on the same road.
The two women are said to be a 44-year-old and a 38-year-old. They were residents of the Govinna area in Bulathsinhala.
Police added that the deceased lorry driver was a 29-year-old resident of the Divulkada area in Bulathsinhala. The bodies of the victims have been placed at the Horana Hospital.
