President’s Coordinating Secretary Rajika Kodithuwakku was appointed a member of the Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte Municipal Council by President Maithripala Sirisena on Saturday August 22.

Rajika Kodithuwakku was sworn in at the president’s official residence. Rajika Kodithuwakku was appointed to the position left vacant by Councillor Ranjith Ponnamperuma. An attorney by profession, Rajika Kodithuwakku entered active politics in 1999.
