Today is Day 2 of the fifth Ashes Test between Australia and England currently underway at the Kennington Oval.

Australia resumed day two with an over night score of 287 for the loss of three wickets. Chris Voges was the first to fall today as he was dismissed for 76 runs by Stokes and several overs later Mitchell Marsh was sent back for three runs.

Moeen Ali got the better of Peter Nevill dismissing him for 18 runs and Ali struck in the same over, to bowl out Mitchell Johnson who went back to the pavillion without troubling the scorers.

Steven Smith who played a valiant innings was dismissed by Steven Finn for 143 runs ending the frustration of the English Bowlers and Mitchell Starc who made a quick 58, was trapped in front by stokes leaving the visitors at 475 runs for the loss of nine wickets.

Australia were bundled out for 481 runs after the fall of Peter Siddle.
