Andy Murray broke his 8 match loosing streak, when he took on world number one Novak Djokovic for the first time in two years to take home the Rogers Cup on Sunday
The british number one mananged to out do the Serbian national 6-4 4-6 6-3 in a three hour thriller on Montreal that earned him a fourth title this year. The win and 11t masters title over Novak comes as a huge boost for the Brit, as the world of tennis get ready for the US open in New York on 31st August.
The Scottish national is now set to overtake Roger Federer in Monday’s new ATP rankings to return to number two for the first time since 2013.
