Two women  have been arrested from the Dematagoda and Mt. Lavania areas for possession of Heroin.

According to the Police the arrested were made on a tip off recieved by the Police. The suspects are due to be produced before the Maligakanda and Mt. Lavania magistrates courts respectively.

The suspect arrested from Dematagoda is a resident of the Wellampitiya area while the other suspect is a resident of the Ratmalana area.
