All tuition classes, seminars and workshops related to the 2015 Advanced Level examination will be prohibited from midnight on July 29.
Issuing a notice, Commissioner General of Exams, W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara said that this will be in effect until Sept. 8, 2015. The distribution of posters, banners, handouts and books that include probable questions related to the Advanced Level examination will also be prohibited.
Furthermore, the notice noted that all programmes related to the exams that are carried out by electronic media or print media will be prohibited during this time frame.
It has been reported that legal action will be taken against those who violate these instructions. The commissioner general requested that the public report such cases to the nearest police station or to the Department of Examinations.
