Susil Kindelpitiya, leader of the People’s National United Front for Good Governance in an interview with the Asian Tribune, revealed that his dream is to have ‘One Country and One Nation’ without any differences and without showing discrimination or malice towards anyone.

He notes that joining in a political party led by a Tamil is really a turning point in Sri Lankan politics. Kindelpitiya says that right from the beginning, he had the greatest regard and respect towards the leader of the TULF Anandasangaree.

In the interview, he adds that unfortunately, a few have failed to understand the philosophy behind contesting under the TULF and adds that they have started criticising and slinging mud at him, directly and indirectly.

Susil Kindelpitiya says that this is the best way to promote ethnic harmony and reconciliation in this country. The interview also quotes Kindelpitiya saying that this is an ‘experiment of truth’ and he does not want to change it, but wanted to lead and change the mainstream political culture into harmonious one.

Susil Kindelpitiya has met Anandasangaree and arrived at an agreement to contest as a candidate of his party for the Colombo District.
