Nearly a dozen killed in ISIL’s double suicide attack

At least 22 Iraqi soldiers and fighters from the Popular Mobilization Forces have been killed and at least 24 wounded in suicide bomb attacks.

According to local police, the attack was carried out by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Wednesday’s double suicide car attack was carried out with a confiscated Iraqi army Humvee and an armored army vehicle at the Harariyat village, part of Al Karmah town.

The violence is a part of ongoing clashes between ISIL and government forces, that has been isolating the citles of Ramadi and Fallujah, by cutting off supply lines of the armed group

Both blasts were co-ordianted to target a congregation of Iraqi army soldiers and fighter.
