Former minister Dullas Alahapperuma has filed a complaint with the Matara Police citing that the Former Chairman of the Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha had levelled death threats against him.

Police Media Spokesperson, ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said the former Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman had threatened the former minister on Monday morning, when handing over his nominations at the Matara District Secretariat.

The Police Media Spokesperson said that former minister Alahapperuma filed a complaint following the handing over of nominations.
