Twenty eight (28) persons who sustained injuries following a collision between a private bus and a CTB bus along the Colombo-Horana road in Gonapala have been hospitalised.

Police stated that the accident had occurred at around 6.20 a.m. on Saturday, July 11. They added that three persons are in a critical condition. Four individuals have died in motor accidents reported in Kanagarayankulam, Settikulam and Gampola.
