Football saw some head-turning transfers this week as Treble champs Barcelona take on Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid to add to their mid-field with veteran Xavi taking his leave from the Spanish club and team-mate Iniesta also closing in on his end at Camp Nou.

The deal was set up for 24 million pounds but Turan will not be able to play for the club until January as Barca is unable to register new players until 2016 under the terms of a Fifa ban
