Speaking at a meeting held in Mattakkuliya held July 5 afternoon, Dr. Harsha de Silva spoke on Mahinda Rajapaksa being granted a nomination.

He went on to state that the people joined President Maithripala Sirisena in order to be rid of Mahinda Rajapaksa and not to bring him back, and that if this happens, then they too will have to criticise President Maithripala Sirisena.

He noted that the UNP is good when it’s good, but can be bad when needed.
