Investigations are underway to apprehend suspects who stole Rs. 500,000 in cash in Nochchiyagama, Anuradhapura.

The ofice of the Police media spokesperson said that the robbery had taken place in Thambuttegama. The group of robbers had blocked the road with a lorry and arrived in a car to commit the robbery.

Police added information has come to light that three persons had committed the robbery.
