A pregnant mother has died in an accident in Dampalassa, Narammala.

Police Media Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunesekara said the woman was nine months pregnant at the time of the accident.

Meanwhile, one person died while six others sustained injuries in an accident along the Minuwangoda-Veyangoda Road.

Police said the accident had occurred at around 5.30 p.m. on June 26. They added that a van crashed into a another van, that collided with a bus. The injured have been admitted to the Minuwangoda Hospital.
