The second day of the second test ends in rain with Sri Lanka looking to pounce back in to form.

Pakistan, who put up 138 runs in the first day was put to the test on the second day with Sri Lanka putting up 304 runs with one wicket remaining, going in to the third day.

Skipper Angelo Mathews led the team with the bat to put up 77 runs which ended in an lbw appeal and JK.Silva managed to chip in 80 runs in 218 balls earlier during the day.

Pakistan bowling was spearheaded by Yasir Shah who manged to pick up a five wicket haul at the end of the day after a spell of 40 overs, which saw a total of 95 runs and 5 maidens.
