Minister of Tourism and Sports Navin Dissanayake says that he will not seek political revenge.
He made this statement at an event in Thalawakele.
Minister Dissanayake, and M.H. Abdel Halim , the minister of muslim religious affairs and posts, declared open the new post office in Thalawakele on June 15.
Minister Navin Dissanayake said even when the general elections are announced, everyone has the freedom to work for the Mahinda’s side or the Maithripala Sirisena side, or even for the United National Party.
There are people who bear various views here. That is not an issue. The people have the right to work according to the political view they follow. The difference is this. Even if you work against me, I will never seek revenge. As a politician, I always attempt to bring the people to my side. However, I will not engage in politics where I will attack someone and make that person lose his job simply because he worked against me. But, if you come and attack us, we will not stay idle.
