An event to distribute concessionary housing loans commissioned by the Housing Development Authority for 300 families in Panadura was held under the auspices of Western Provincial Councilor S.M. Marrikkar.

The ceremony was organised at the party office of councilor S.M. Marrikkar in Kollonnawa on Tuesday, June 09, morning, as part of a series of programmes in the pipeline.

Marikkar stated that they need a set of public representatives who feel they are interested in a responsibility to render their service to the people of Kolonnawa, as they cannot finish all developments in 100 days ‘like gods.’ He went on to note that the service done by those who were elected over the past five polls for the people of Kolonnawa will backfire following the next election.
