The Balamandala Meeting of the Haputale Electorate was held under the auspices of  Uva Province Chief Minister Harin Fernando at the Cultural Centre in Diyatalawa .

Chief Minister of the Uva Province Harin Fernando stated that as he got into debate with Wimal Weerawansa, he took away two files with him. If you look into those files, all the fraud committed during the elections are documented.
