EA Games’ latest game in its FIFA franchise will include 12 Women’s National Teams from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and the United States, for the first time in its long history.

As industries continue to break gender barriers and roles, EA games keep to the trend with their addition of Womens’ National teams to the latest game Fifa 16 said to be released on September 22  in North America and on September 25 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

Fifa, the gaming franchise has been a game found all across various platform around the world. Since 1993 the game has been breaking expectations with improvements to graphics, game play but most importantly in sales.
