The National Zoological Association has decided to bring down a variety of animals under the animal exchange programme.

The Director of the Association, Anura de Silva stated these animals will be brought down from countries such as India, China and South Africa.

A black swan and a white swan are scheduled to be brought down from India under this programme.

He went on to note that sea lions, snow tigers and other kinds of wild cats will also be brought down.  Sri Lanka is to send back giraffes, and leopards in exchange.
