Speaking at a press conference convened at the Abhayarama in Narahenpita, MP Dullas Alahapperuma stated that the process of obtaining signatures for the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister has begun.
He further stated that the process to obtain signatures for the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremsinghe has begun and that over 60 signatures had been obtained by 6 p.m. He further noted that ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers too had placed their signatures and that the Prime Minister’s operations over the Treasury Bond issue and the arbitrary amendment of the Police Ordinance, where the police was put under a political force, are some of the key issues that have to be addressed
