State Minister of Child Affairs Rosy Senanayake states that a National Government should remain in power in-order for the country to move forward.

Speaking at an event held in the Kotahena area on Wednesday (May 6th) the Minister said that President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe ,who are the leaders of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and the United National Party (UNP)  respectively, have created a background where the country will be able to face any challenge through a system of good governance.

Rosy Senanayake went onto note that the people believe that President Sirisena would continue to work with PM Ranil Wickremesinghe even after a parliamentary election to fulfill the needs of the public. She added that these two leaders have the potential to lead the country towards prosperity through unity.
