The German cup semi final saw an eventful week as Borussia Dortumund took on Bayern Munich, Tuesday.

The two teams went head to head as Robert Lewandowski gave Bayern the lead in normal time before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leveled.

The game which ended one all had to be decided on penalties.Only Dortmund’s ,Sebastian Kehl and Ilkay Gundogan scored from seven penalty-takers, with Bayern’s Xabi Alonso and Philipp Lahm slipping as they took their spot-kicks, Bayern’s Bad luck continued as Mario Gotze was denied and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer hit the bar.

Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp, who is leaving the club at the end of the season, is looking to snatch the cup for a second time in his last match.

The second semi-final between Arminia Bielefeld and Wolfsburg will be played on Wednesday, April 29.
