FC Barcelona managed to outdo Paris-Saint German to walk away with a 2 goal lead in their last game on Wenesday (15th April). Barcelona players and fans alike will be looking for a win heading in to their home game at Camp Nou in the Champions League Quarter Finals, next week.

The Spanish club got head start when Neymar (Barcelona),who was assisted by Lionel Messi with a through ball, took a right footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom right corner . The Spaniards continued to dominate with Suarez sinking 2 goals into the net in the 66th and 78th minute of the game. However the team was not without damage as veteran Xavi had to be called in for Iniesta due to injury.

PSG managed to lighten the lead with Barcelona Defender Jeremey Matheiu’s unfortunate contribution – which saw him deflect a 20-yard Gregory van der Wiel drive, past his own keeper. Barcelona, who finished 3-1 in their favor at the end of play look to dominate heading in to the second leg.

PSG, who came in to the game without their star Zlatan Ibramovich, also lost captain Thiago Silva because of an injury, early in the game.

The champions league had been subject to dramatic games this year in its quarter final stretch as FC Porto at home, managed to take down German giants Bayern Munich for 3-1 earlier this week.
