South Korean Activist Lee Min Bok had stated that he had flown thousands of copies of the movie The Interview over the North Korean border.

Mr Lee, a defector of the North had said to foreign reporters that he had tied DVDs, American dollars and leaflets criticising the current leadership on to balloons that were directed to fly over the North Korean border. Thousands of these copies and more leaflets were flown over the western part of the border on Saturday (4th April) and has been continued by South Korean Activists across the border.
The movie sparked outrage with its controversial plot of the assassination of the North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un. The initial release of the movie was halted earlier this year due to hacking and threats on cinemas screening the movie.
