Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the Abayarama Temple again on Wednesday March 25, where he met with several local government representatives from the Sabaragamuwa Province.

The former president commented  on his security detail to the media who were also present at the Abayarama Temple.

Former president Mahinda Rajapaksa said that Sarath Fonseka has 110 in his security detail adding that the people whom he has, do not even have vehicles.

Meanwhile, Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Rajitha Senaratne on Tuesday, March 24 said:

”His Secretary Lalith Weeratunge signed to obtain it. He has two high security cars, one dummy car, one Defender, one Toyota land cruiser and one cab. Altogether there are six vehicles. He has two bullet proof cars. The former lady president was given only one but it was returned saying that it cannot be used. ”

He further noted that in addition to that, 108 army personnel and 105 police personnel have been appointed for his security detail adding that two double cabs, eight motorbikes, two buses and one Land cruiser were granted for their transportation.
