The Ministry of Fisheries says that Indo – Lanka talks on fisheries that were stalled for nearly a year will be held in Chennai, India on March 24 and 25.
The Ministry said that ten representatives from fisheries unions will represent Sri Lanka at the discussions.
Furthermore, six officers representing the ministry and the fisheries department will participate to monitor the discussions.
The representatives of both the countries last met in May 2014. The representatives will leave to Chennai on March 23.
