The Korean Government has decided to open four thousand to five thousand job placements for Sri Lankan migrant workers.

Minister of Foreign Employment Thalatha Athukorala said that the individuals who have excelled in the Korean language proficiency exams in the recent years will be considered for those openings.

She further pointed out that, a majority foreign job placements were lost in the past due to the lethargic operations of the Bureau of Foreign Employment.
