The interim report compiled by the the Presidential Commission to Investigate into Complaints Regarding Missing Persons is to be handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena on Wednesday.
The Commission’s Chairman Maxwell Paranagama said that the report will consists of the observations and the current progress of the investigation. He added that the Commission has received nearly 20,000 complaints.
Maxwell Paranagama went on to note that the evidence regarding the missing persons in the Ampara district will be evaluated during the first week of April.
