A stock of forged notes amounting to four hundred and forty one thousand rupees was taken into police custody in Batuwatta, Ragama.

Police Media Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said that two persons, along with the stash of forged notes, have been taken into police custody.

The Police Media Spokesperson added that among the counterfeit notes were, 53 five thousand rupee notes, 148 thousand rupee notes, and 58 five hundred rupee notes.
