A group of opposition MP’s lodged a complaint with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption on Wednesday (March 11th) against the Governor of the Central Bank, Arjuna Mahendran.

Meanwhile UPFA MP Sajin de Vass Gunewardena did not arrive at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Commission today, though he was summoned for a statement.

The Commission said that the MP had notified them that he is unable to be present before the Commission citing an illness.

MP Sajin de Vass Gunewardena has noted that he will appear before Bribery Commission tomorrow.
