Anti Corruption Front hands over files to Bribery Commission

The Anti Corruption Front handed over a number of files to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, on Friday.

Complaints of financial irregularities in connection to a number of institutions including the Dangerous Drugs Control Board, Sri Lanka Catering and the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment to name a few were among these files.

Convenor of Anti Corruption Front, Venerable Ulapane Sumangala Thera said that they handed over all the complaints to the commission for investigating bribery and corruption.

Ven. Ulapane Sumangala Thera added that a number of ministers who were appointed are closing deals with people who have been involved in corruption in order to save them from facing the repercussions.
