Two deaths were reported from Nuwara Eliya and Dodangoda, Kalutara.

The  body of a thirty-two-year-old individual who went missing from the St. Leonard Estate in the Medwatta area in Ragala, Nuwara Eliya  on March 1, was discovered in a lake on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, an individual has been murdered with the use of a sharp weapon in the Pepilawatte area in Dodangoda, Kalutara at around 7.30 Tuesday night.

The victim aged 50, was a resident of the Maggona area in Diyalagoda.

According to the police, the suspect in connection to the murder has fled the area. The body of the victim is currently placed at the Nagoda General Hospital.
